For me smart phones have all the pros you said but it has drawback too. for example : - be all the time connected to internet can have negative aspect in your relationship. Some people cannot stay more than 20 minutes without go to Internet and it is very difficult to their relations.Smart phone is really fun but sometimes you must know stop.

Hey Derek! Treating social media sites as a "party" really is the way to go. People are not on these sites to be sold to. If you're a marketer, business owner, or just trying to gain more exposure for a blog, etc. The natural course people will take when you engage with them is to browse through your profile pages eventually ending up at your site(s).
